Cinderella (2023)..

• İZDOB’um yetmedi, Avustralya Balesi‘ne de dadandığımı biliyorsunuz ve o da yetmedi çünkü senede sadece iki tane online‘a yer veriyor şimdi de İngiltere opera ve balesine dadandığımı coşkuyla ifade ederek sözlerime başlıyorum :-) 
• Öyle ki hemen çokça övgü alan ve daha önce bale versiyonu hiç seyretmediğim Külkedisi ile başladım işe. Ve çok da iyi oldu. 
• İlk başta renkler açısından gerçekten farklı bir kurumun balesini seyrettiğini ve İngiliz balesi seyrettiğinizi çok net anlıyorsunuz. :) Demem o ki bir tık renklerin soluk olduğunu ve bunun bale için kendi nezdimde o aradığım canlılığı bulmama engel teşkil ettiğini ifade etmeliyim. 
• Ama bu demek değil ki renksiz bir bale eseri var karşımızda. Tam tersi gökkuşağının tüm renkleriyle her sahnesi bezenmiş ışıl ışıl bir Külkedisi söz konusu. 
• Özellikle kostüm detaylarının Nasıl ki Avustralya Balesi’nin bir tık yukarı olduğunu gördüysem, bunun da ondan da iki tık yukarı olduğunu rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim. Çok etkilendim. 
• Aynı şekilde koreografi ve dekorun ne kadar detaylı ve çarpıcı olduğunu görmeniz lazım tabii ki. Bir de performansı açısından şunu ekleyebilirim. Mesela Avustralya balesi çok fazla çalıştıklarını ve onu mükemmelleştirdiklerini danslardan size hissettiren bir durum söz konusuydu. Bunda ise artık o çalışmanın da ötesine geçilmiş sanki bu sanatçılar doğuştan bu şekildelermiş gibi öyle bir doğallıkta performanslarını sergiliyorlar. Hiçbir zorlama olmadan resmen normal hayatta da o şekilde yaşıyormuşçasına parmak uçlarındalar. Etkilenmemek mümkün değil. 
• Velhasıl ben buradan da  imge kuyumu dolduruyorum haberiniz olsun. Sevenlerine de sevenlerine de şiddet önerdiğimi tabii ki söylemeden geçmiyorum.

Cinderella (2023)..

• My obsession with IZDOB wasn’t enough, as you know I started indulging in the Australian Ballet too. And now, that’s not enough either because they only offer two online performances a year! So, let me excitedly announce that I’ve now turned my attention to the Royal Ballet and Opera in England. :-)
• I kicked things off with Cinderella, a production that’s received heaps of praise and a ballet version I’d never seen before. And honestly, it was a great decision.
• From the very beginning, you can immediately tell that you’re watching a ballet from a completely different institution—and specifically, English ballet. :) What I mean is that the colors are a touch muted, which for me personally made it a little harder to find the vibrancy I usually look for in a ballet.
• But that doesn’t mean the production lacks color. Quite the opposite! Cinderella dazzles in every scene, adorned with all the colors of the rainbow.
• Speaking of details, just as I realized the Australian Ballet had raised the bar in costume design, I can confidently say this takes it two steps further. I was incredibly impressed.
• Similarly, you have to see how intricate and striking the choreography and set designs are. As for the performance itself, here’s what I noticed: With the Australian Ballet, you could sense how much hard work and perfectionism went into every move. Here, though, it feels like they’ve gone beyond that—it’s as if these dancers were born this way. Their performances are so natural and effortless, as if they live on pointe shoes even in their everyday lives. It’s impossible not to be moved.
• In short, I’m happily filling up my bucket here as well—just so you know! And of course, I highly recommend it to all fans and enthusiasts out there. Don’t miss it!
