Kendinizi akışına bırakın... / Let yourself go... / Lasciati andare...

Senaryosu Ryan Murphy'ye ait olan ve yazar Elizabeth Gilbert'ın kendi hayat deneyiminden yola çıkarak yazdığı Eat, Pray, Love kitabından uyarlanan filmde Julia Roberts, ABD'nin bu popüler yazarını canlandıracak. Roberts'a filmde, The Visitors ile Oscar'a aday olan Richard Jenkins eşlik edecek.

Liz Gilbert (Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having - a husband, a house, a successful career - yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali. Based upon the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert. Written by Sony Pictures.

The synopsis of the film version of Elizabeth Gilbert's book ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ just tells this about the movie. But I guess the movie will give much more. When the book published, I was an Erasmus in Italy. My dear room neighbor Tess, after her weekend trip to Ireland had come and gave the book as a gift to the dorm’s girls and said that “I had wanted to buy from here [Vercelli] but I couldn’t find. But thankfully I could have found in Ireland. It’s absolutely a woman book. I would like you all to read it”. First Marijke and after her I read and loved it! After a couple of weeks, we heard there will be a movie of it. And since then (May 2007), we have been waiting for it. Last summer, when i read on the web, leading actor and actress are Roberts and Bardem, I liked the idea. It’s a perfect choice.
The pictures which have been released yet are giving the hints that we will find that our vision we had when we were reading will match with the scenery of the movie. As the movie tagline says, I look forward to the movie will come to the theaters soon and I would like to “let my self go”…
Probabilmente fareste come Liz: tornereste a letto, a pensarci su.

Ps. Finally, It is very clear that, even before the movie hits the screen, we have the signals that it will also be a phenomenon with its clothing/style.
