İlk Ladurée kutum.. / My first Ladurée box..

Meğer ne kadar popülermiş de ben bilmiyormuşum. Ladurée’nin Bebek’te şube açacağı haberiyle olanlar oldu, her yerde bir macaroon fırtınası koptu. Aslında duymuş ama bu kadar ünlü olduğunu meğer idrak edememişim ve bir şekilde de hiç tadına bakamamışım. Bebek’te bu ayın 12’sinde açılacağı haberiyle ablamın o gün oradan geçişi denk gelince hemen aradıysam da dükkândan “ne yazık ki tüm çabamıza rağmen ilan edildiği üzere bugün açılamadık” haberiyle dışarı alındığını öğrendim. Bu olay üzerine o an orada bulunan Gül ablanın halihazırda arkadaşının o gün ona taa Paris’teki orijinal dükkandan alıp yolladığı Ladurée kutusunun bana hediye etmesi ile muradıma erdim:) Canım yeğenimle de ikimiz için bir ilk olarak (3 ve 30 yaş!!) tadına baktık.. Çok aşık olamadık ama fena değildi. Ama en azından İstanbul şubesinin tadımından önce gerçeğini tatmış oldum:)

I didn’t know how much it is famous until the moment we had the news which it will open its 1st store in Istanbul, Turkey. Everywhere gave that news with joy. And I realized that I also never had the chance to taste it before! Well, when the time which my sister was passing by collided with its so said opening day 12th November I asked her to pop into buy a box of it. But I learnt that they kindly didn’t accept her because although their strong effort, they couldn’t open the store on the day which they had announced previously. Then coincidently my sister’s best friend took out a box and said that one of her friend had brought a box of Ladurée from Paris from its original shop on that day! And finally I had the chance to taste it with my sweetest nephew for the first tine for both of us (3 and 30 years old together!!). and result: I didn’t fall in love with the taste but it was pretty good.

Ps. I have no idea if the color comes from natural ingredients or not. If you know anything about it please enlighten me …
